As soon as a celebrity couple gets engaged speculation starts on when a pregnancy will be announced, even when the wedding date has not even been made public.
Seems that this is exactly what is happening to the newly engaged True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Representatives of both actors announced the engagement on August 5, no wedding date has been revealed but the baby talk has already begun.
Gossip websites published stories about an alleged baby wish and Perez Hilton (can somebody please shut this idiot up…) threw some extra oil on the fire with his latest blog post on the True Blood couple entitled: “True Blood Baby On The Way?!” A very classy Perez “article” as usual.
Twitter picked up on the story and it is flying all over the web.
However…..Anna Paquin’s representative said today that Anna is not pregnant.
In a recent interview with the British Daily Mail Anna said on the subject of children:
“I don’t know how they’d resolve me and my short shorts on the show with a baby bump! So there are a few “not untils” on that one. At some point, when that convenient time, which never exists for actresses, comes – somewhere between now and menopause – I will. I have time.”
