After Facebook, NU targets mobile phone calls between sexes

buyhercandy:

Many have been shocked to learn that 1,700 Muslim clerics of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) — the largest Muslim organization in Indonesia — have issued an edict banning communication between sexes using mobile phones, and online social networks such as Facebook. …

NU spokesman Abdul Muid Shohib said communication using mobile phones was prone to adultery, especially between the sexes.

“Communicating through mobile phones could lead to extramarital affairs,” Abdul told The Jakarta Post through his mobile.

The only communication allowed between different sexes is that which spreads Islamic teachings, he said.

“We have banned social networking such as Facebook, Friendster and others because they are not used to spread Islamic teachings, but for gossiping,” he said.

Indonesia needs more Job, Isn’t it? :D

You Need Serious Help For a Computer and Internet Addiction

straight_jacketYesterday, I asked you to complete a screening questionnaire developed for the reStart Internet Addiction Treatment Center. The results were quite frightening.

According to the data, over 50% of you answered five or more of the questions with a “yes” answer. Okay, I can see that—you are reading a gadget blog after all. But the interesting thing is that the answer with the highest number of responses was a “yes” answer to all twelve questions. Really? All twelve? I mean, these aren’t all fluff questions—actually it reads more like “signs you might grow up to be a serial killer.” Maybe spending $14,500 on a 45-day program isn’t such a bad idea after all.

english-at-workSometimes peoples do the same job everyday, routines activities make them bored.

I can’t imagine, and its happened when I join with the English course on every friday afternoon, I join with this class just once a week, but suddenly I feel so bored with the English course, and this is still in the half of the entire schedule.

What’s wrong? Does the English not interesting anymore?, actually it is not, but here is just according to my humble opinion, the topic and the material of the course feel the same, there are not challence anymore, our skill not going to anywhere.

We realize that the English language so important to learn, because this is the international language and most people around the world used this as the main tools for communication.

Ough.. god please help me.

In promoting the album Michael was one of the first to use music videos to promote some of the songs. He created videos for 3 of the singles, Billie Jean, Beat It, and the Thriller video. After a slow start and some reported pressure from Michael the videos received regular plays on MTV which at the time was the worlds main satellite music channel and up until then rarely played music videos by black artists, including those by Michael.
